Vodacom data special extended

Wasn't Vodacom the network which others followed rather than the other way around? ;)

Toward the end of July Vodacom reiterated that their data specials would end on 31 July 2012, but the company has now backtracked on this statement after MTN extended its R149 for 2GB promotion “until further notice”.

Cell C has also extended its current mobile broadband promotions to 30 September 2012, and has introduced a new flat rate for its standard data bundles of 15c per MB.

8ta announced on 11 May 2012 that it has extended their 10GIG, 3GIG and 120GIG data promotions until the end of March 2013.

Vodacom is so desperate to prove that my signature is correct that they "extended" a promotion a week after it has ended.

Jannie said he was working on letting contract users bolt on these specials on a once off basis. Whatever happened to that.

And what happened to MTN's 2GB for R189 on prepaid deal.

It not longer shows on USSD?

Any word on that from MTN?

The price is not bad (For mobile) but it should've been prepaid or once-off.

Eg: 1GB + 1GB X 12 months = R1199 (Valid for a year)

or 2GB + 2GB X 12 months = R1499 (Valid for a year)

No Contracts and No OOB surprises!!

Why can't i get this on PREPAID ??

PREPAID pricing is as follows according to *111#
1GB = R279
1.5GB = R319
2GB = R369
2.5GB = R429
4GB = R499

Another lousy article with no facts. RPM quite unhappy that Peter is leaving.

Just btw.
These deals expired 6th August, they announced on the 3rd August it would be extended. Nice spin MyBB.
