Vodacom fibre

Been having serious issues the last 2 nights, during the day it seemd fine but when i got home at night chaos.

Also, when i do speed tests they are all over the place.

I was on MyIweb WISP which was absolutely fantastic, thought fibre would be better... little did i know

Have you logged a fault?
 
Did you guys check out if it is better when using other DNS servers? I did not have the chance to test, but throughput wasn't the problem for me, as twitch would take long to open the site, but the stream itself loaded in seconds. This makes me think the problem might be DNS related.
 
Vodacom is aware of the issue, said the network should start stabilizing, please can you check so I can feedback to them, I am not home currently.
 
Been monitoring mine today remotely - seems to be back up at my 20mbps download and ping is between 3 - 8 ms

Currently I am back on Vodacom's DNS servers, as my O365 wasn't working without it and I have been too lazy to troubleshoot.
 
Morning all, Vodacom just informed me that they patched their cisco infrastructure to address the fibre network issues. Any testing/feedback this morning would be appreciated
 
For those not on the whatsapp group, yes, it seems VC Fibre is off. Mine has been offline since 12:05.
 
When I called Vodacom, the operator informed me that the entire Vodacom fibre network has been down, quote: "from Cape Town to Musina".
