I am sure VodaCom will remain mum on this or come up with a clever answer. It is not their profile or mandate to provide advertisers with specific information.

Hmm I just tested it and it does not send my number?
Only information related to the phone type and OS is sent but that is from my browser and not Vodacom.

This is what happens when a company got their customers by the B@LLS. Alternatively, their customers don't care and are just suckers for punishment.
Always wondered how you can be spammed, when you've just activated a sim.
Glad I gave them the boot long ago.
Their main concern is not the well being of their clients, rather than to line their pockets and screw their customers left, right and centre.
