thats right, push cape town to the back of the queue. can we have a better reason please?

I dont really care, but one would think that the top tourist destination in the country is upgraded first?

I can tell you why is obvoiuos the cape town people don't want to have their road rug up for fibre and additional towers put up spoiling their views, so I say fine, more LTE for the rest of us.

Yay Vodacom. You have the best coverage already and now you are making it even better. I will get my iPhone 5 from you and port my number from MTN in December. Wait on me guys.

Hmmmm.... how about fulfilling universal service and corporate social investment obligations by deploying LTE in the rural areas first?

$$$$$$$ is king, eh?

You obviously don't come to CT, all the roads have been dug up, we also already have our own metro fibre installed which can be bought wholesale.

Yes, that would make some sense considering there is plenty of unused spectrum there to be refarmed and they were harping on about how great it is for rural areas...

On the $$$ I heard a rumour VC top dogs are so worried about being embarrassed by MTN that the billing systems are not going to be in place for LTE, so it might actually be free (contract customers only I would guess) for at least a month. Bonus for those who have devices and are in the right place.
