Friend and I were having a chat today about the new R100, 100 anytime minutes deal offered by cell C which we heard advertised on the radio this morning, and eventually we ended up discussing the budget of the mobile network operators lol.

Just as a matter of interest, would anyone here have an idea of how large Vodacom's national marketing budget is, and more specifically size of the marketing budget in the Eastern Cape ( coz we stay in PE )

We had a bet that whoever was closer had to buy the first three rounds at the local pub on Friday.

Vodacom is advertising the bafana bafana adverts on TV so much that the public will think Vodacom is the WorldCup sponsor.

MTN can't do jack because Vodacom is the official sponsor of our national side.
