Vodacom side-steps own 4G rules, CEO explains

He is not the CEO of Vodacom, he is the TEO : Troll Executive Officer.

Every time he says something its pure trollfest worthy bullcrud.

Cell C has the perfect leverage now to block Vodacom from using the 4G term until LTE- advance actually arrives.

The problem is, he is just saying what he is told to say. He might be an idiot, but he has a lot more idiots underneath him.

This guy is a joke.

I actually appreciate him, only the idiots in Vodascum can bring Vodascum down. 10/10 for this guy.

It all starts from the top.

I hope Cell C take them to court and fight a ridiculousy trivial case, just for the fun of it.

The media is gonna have a field day with Scameel, only thing missing now is a SHOWER TOP on his head.

Hipocrazy, you art thou Vodacom

I've had enough of them now, come month end, I'm moving away from them, and porting my family members as well.

Can see why they hired this dupe.

Pure parrot management.

Oops he did it again
He lied to our faces
2 days in a row
Oops he did it again

This turd is seriously trying to pull these kind of stunts in the age of information?

I think Vodacom needs to start looking for a new CEO. This one has a serious case of foot in mouth...

Agreed with comments like....

“To avoid customer confusion and prevent South Africa getting out of step with the terminology used in the rest of the world, we may have to take the practical decision to adopt the term 4G.”

Everyday I like Vodacom a little less
3 months and then I am rid of my ridiculous vodacom contract with R2/mb OUT OF BUNDLE rates...

explained Joosub.

“To avoid customer confusion and prevent South Africa getting out of step with the terminology used in the rest of the world, we may have to take the practical decision to adopt the term 4G.”

Will the Scameelery never end?

I also hope Cell C slam Vodacom in to the trap they built for themselves making sure they can't call LTE 4G (What is wrong with just calling it LTE???). VC are always so pedantic about any little fun ad (remember the Cell C one with the red car as a good example) when they could have had some fun in return and won some respect (i.e. Sanlam and Nandos).
