Vodacom SMTP Outgoing Mail server help

That's because Gmail now blocks any emails sent through an unauthenticated SMTP. It's a security measure that was implemented quite some time back.
Wow that’s interesting.
Any advice with regard to this problem? Should I setup a gmail account and make it retrieve/fetch mail from the Telkom account?
Should I address the issue with Telkom, is it even worthwhile doing that?

I wish I could offer you more useful advice.

I have an email through VOX, and they sent us all settings for a secure SMTP server for their email.

Unfortunately it can't be used for my Afrihost email address.

So far, Afrihost doesn't offer a secure SMTP for their free emails.

If I send out emails using the Afrihost SMTP, they usually don't make it to the other side. If I use the webmail portal, they go into the receiver's junkmail.

The situation with Vodacom is a bit different If I recall correctly. Their SMTP server is secure, but it only works on the Vodacom Network with a Vodacom Email.
