Vodacom subscribers complain about connectivity problems

Same issue. Joburg South. Area has terrible Vodacom signal. Complained for years and nothing is ever done.

In this area there are 4 complexes with 300 plus units each. Vodacom really doesn't care about getting more of the market.

People do business with the devil, and then are supprised if things doesn't work out
All cell phone providers are devils.
It's just some are worse than others.

True, some hide it a bit better. Vodacom did not even try to hide it. They kept the OOB shark alive for some many years... everyone could see their true colour, but many kept on doing business with them.

I logged a call about signals a week ago and got a referance number.
This week an sms arrives that my enquiry has been sorted and they closed the log.
No one even bothered to contact me
Fcking useless cnts.
happened a few times to me too!

When asked about the complaints about poor signal, Vodacom told MyBroadband that there is no general issue or outage impacting its network

Vodacom you are a bunch of liers
youre right, they think people are non the wiser

would be nice if everyone or if could, did what a other people did and make a poster, hang it somewhere to get attention and force the ceo to look in to it, apparently he got it right! maybe then vodacom will take their customers serious, which they don't:unsure:

Bump. Mine goes down about once every two minutes, local fault or is this still an issue in general?

Anyone else notice that Vodacom Signal has been pathetic for the last year?

Since early 2020 I stopped getting 2FA texts from some services on Vodacom. Friend of mine ran into the same issue last week with 2FA messages for her PlayStation account.

That, coupled with the R10 price drop of 1GB prepaid data this past month and the overall sucky choice of contracts and phones leads me to wondering if I need to hop over somewhere else.

And their lack of customer service is horrible at most, as I had to struggle to get someone to come personally to see the issues at my location.

It's now a never ending story. Now I wanted to use the night owl data, but Vodacom's network is playing around once again. On and off. Anyone else?

Had quite a few calls now where I can hear everything on the call, but the person on the other end can't hear me. Has only happened on Vodacom to Vodacom calls.

Same here ... :(

Some times calls do not even go thru. Phoning from one side of the office to the far side. :( :(

I would like to cancel my Vodacom contracts. Never more than 2bar signal at home and often none. Calls often dropped. Vodacom have tested signal and say a tower is needed but no time frame for providing. Wi fi fibre signal also drops and signal so weak thay I have to manually reconnect when I notice my phone is on 4G. An excuse to sell more mobile Data? Shockingly bad service. Not getting what I'm paying for
Good day I don’t thing Vodacom has the skills ore will to rectify just a a lot off talks way back they setup a receiver Arial at my home that did work but not for long they are very simpathy but that’s all
