Vodacom, every DOG has its day.

For raping me in broad daylight u shall pay dearly. I have six contracts, slowly but surely it will come to an end...:-)

Until then...

Wow I thought my 4 was a lot, slowly but surely as they come to the end of their lives the are getting cancelled.

I couldn't make calls on Saturday afternoon from 3 Vodacom phones, I had to use someone's Mtn phone. I couldn't make calls for about an hour.

Can't get billing right, network always having problem.... Yip Vodacom Red is for anger! Since the rebrand it's been down hill.

Lol! its quite funny how the largest telecomms company is constantly being smacked in the face by technological fails.. Not AYOBA :-)

When are the authorities going to act? I am getting so sick of this even thought this particular event did not impact me, I am still having constand call drops even after sending jannie my details a month ago

Seems like you want to promote Cell C whenever you can....even when Cell C has got nothing to do on the topic at hand.

Even though I'm loving Cell C, that wasn'y my intention. Voda constantly promotes itself for QoS, coverage, stability and the fact that they're far from capacity regarding their network - and often comments are made that they're superior to competitors due to this, especially Cell C. The reality is that besides their coverage, they're proving to be the most inferior, complacent and expensive. This thread was ideal for the comparison if one has the ability to see it...

Vodacom seems to be struggling lately ... I'm off to get an 8ta contract in case the wheels come off again with Vodacom :).

^ That.

I had an error come up on my Blackberry "Sim card rejected" and "Sim not provisioned:2" when I tried to make a call.
I panicked, went to the local Vodacom outlet in Durbs and got told it's a network problem...I wasted half a day because of this and only got reception at 2:30pm yesterday.

I want to choose between CellC and 8ta for data, is there a way to check coverage for my area?

They should rather go back to blue! Since the red, they only had trouble! Their new system does not work! Remember, it is Vodafone pushing down their own systems which supposedly, worked elsewhere, down in South Africa! They should learn one thing, if it work elsewhere, it not necessarily going to work in South Africa!
