Not going to happen for now. Apple requires each network to run RCS on their own IMS core. Vodacom (and many other networks) have handed that over to Google Jibe.

Apple would have to implement a interconnect with Google Jibe for it to work....and knowing Apple, that wont happen in the foreseeable future, which is retarded as Google Messages is the default messages app on most Android phones these days.

Thanks for the update. Suspected as much though. Apple was never going make life easy for RCS. What they will claim in the EU is that they've done the work it's up to the networks to implement interoperability.

See above. The US carrier bundles simply point to "jibecloud.net"

It is what it is though. South African networks have always taken their time to support these sort of things.

T Mobile is the only carrier in that stack that runs their own RCS server.
