Vodapay ????

Not going to happen for now. Apple requires each network to run RCS on their own IMS core. Vodacom (and many other networks) have handed that over to Google Jibe.

Apple would have to implement a interconnect with Google Jibe for it to work....and knowing Apple, that wont happen in the foreseeable future, which is retarded as Google Messages is the default messages app on most Android phones these days.

Thanks for the update. Suspected as much though. Apple was never going make life easy for RCS. What they will claim in the EU is that they've done the work it's up to the networks to implement interoperability.

So I've been reading up on this and what you've described doesn't seem to be the case. Apparently all that network providers have to do is update their carrier bundles with RCS support. The carrier bundle has to detail that Google Jibe is server.

All the US carriers that currently support RCS have offloaded their RCS services to Google Jibe eons ago yet they have RCS enabled on iPhones on their networks.

I have been forced to use WhatsApp recently and I absolutely hate the app.

If that is the case, then I stand corrected.

Can anybody assist with why I can't install Vodapay app on my phone, I can install any other app but this one

What the hell kind of **** app is this?
When trying to buy a bundle it just says "Unable to allocate data bundle now"
Well gee thanks you ass clowns. WHY?

Yes there is sufficient money in my card. Yes the old app worked better. No I won't phone your call centre and speak to a robot. How am I supposed to explain this stupid error?

Has any one tried to use the completely unusable Vodapay app.
I just need to check sms balances on a sim and it literally takes 20 minutes to get to where I can see the balances.
Surely there must be an api I can use.
I thought the old Myvodacom app was poor but was I mistaken.
Hi, yes - I have also tried using his completely unusable app ! I can't seem to buy data with my airtime balance. THe people I work with have all commented on how crappy the new app is.

In all seriousness, what bundle specifically are you trying to buy, as some are specifically limited / have to be purchased with a 'bank card'?

Has anyone figured out how to resolve this issue? VodaPay app is the worst **** ever. I have cleared cache and data, reinstalled the app and keep on getting a loading page on the app, I can click the wallet and that shows some info but the Home Shop and Rewards screens keep loading. When it eventually times out it gives a network error message, which is bullsh!t because it sent the OTP, logged me in, the wallet sees my info (that which is there) so what gives. Its been this way for at least 2 weeks now that I have been trying to use it. Oh and all the permissions have been given to the app, even the ones that it doesnt need. This app did work before too, its just that it does not anymore, not sure if its a version issue since the last update, because it did work as I said, I am just unsure if it stopped working before or after the update, but if I was a betting man, id say after the update

Hi, is anyone elses wallet transaction history blank on the app?

Any other way I can get previous transactions?

The Vodacom Pay app is basically unusable. But then again their data network seems to be going that way as well ...

How is it possible that Vodacom can't get someoneto develop them a half-decent app. Trying to register I get a "no network" error, both on WiFi and mobile data.
A few days later I try again to reset my password. The moron, aka TOBI wants to know my wallet balance is. Icheck using the USSD option. Not one of the possible options are within a few hunder Rands correct. I select R0.00. 10 minutes the moron is still saying "Give me a moment, I'm just verifying your answer quickly."
According to Merriam-Webster a moment is defined as a minute portion or point of time.

I've permanently left Vodacom this time because of this POS "app". Bye bye useless bastards.

Scanned through the thread. It's time people should realise in Vodapay's case app is an acronymn for crap

I have been using the app for a few months just to buy my monthly data bundle.

Now suddenly the app is telling me that my number that I ported to Vodacom almost two decades ago is not a Vodacom number, so I can buy f-all on the app. I now had to use the archaic USSD method to buy my data. I can still see all my usage, my airtime, my data balance, everything, I just can't buy anything because they can't handle ported numbers correctly anymore.

Look at their retarded response to my app review
