He didn't say you must vote ANC in Madiba's memory, he said you must register to vote. So long as you vote, irrespective of who you vote for, it will be what Madiba wanted

There are apparently 23m registered voters in this country, and we did pretty well with a 75% (give or take) turnout at the last national elections.

In this instance I agree, but I however don't think for one minute that he will not use Mandela as a form of manipulation to canvas votes for the up coming election.

WTF. How can you even compare the democracy we have today with apartheid, you're a ****ing idiot. Under apartheid we wouldn't even be allowed to have this conversation, the internet would be banned or severely restricted, any criticism if the then government would have landed you in jail, newspapers were heavily censored and that's just the tip of the iceberg. There would be no public protector, no independent judiciary, no ipads, xboxes etc. Definitely no porn allowed. And I'm not even mentioning all the various race based discriminatory laws that landed thousands of innocent people in jail. Ffs. The fact that you can even attempt to compare today's democratically elected government with the apartheid government shows total ****ing ignorance and stupidity.

Well yes, when someone thinks the current government is the same as the apartheid government it makes me angry. I lived through apartheid and these snot nosed kids who complain how terrible it is today in SA and how the current democratically elected government is as bad as the apartheid government it pisses me off. As for your obsession with winky sizes, you should see someone about that, I mean really, someone gets angry and the first thing you think of is winky size :wtf: or perhaps it's just an infantile attempt at bullying and attempted humiliation since that's the only way you know how to respond when you actually have nothing to contribute.
