Okay, so who is going to do the whole voting registeration thing this weekend (8th & 9th) ?

I'm going with my girlfriend to register - because of where I live, I'll be doing it at St Cyprians school.

To be honest, I've never really been bothered but it is a experience I have to admit that I'm looking forward too doing for the first time.

Anyone else going?

I did the registration thing as soon as I could, being before the last general elections. It's very quick and painless. Only ID book is needed.
Still am registered at the same place, thankfully.

Always vote!

What scares me is people even considering not registering.......

7th and 8th makes sense

8th & 9th doesn't but the radio says the latter.

I went the last time, was easy as pie, heck the attendants actually filled in the form for me. Sticker in the ID book, and done. About 5 minutes tops.

Once again I'm going to try and persuade everybody around me to register. We all need to vote this year and make our voices heard. I don't want a war song dancing president with 7 wives....

Well they told me that you can register any day with the IEC. So I might register tomorrow :p

Well I am registered, but I've moved.

Thanks guys, looking forward to doing it - quickly in and quickly out - just how I like it.

You can actually register at any time at your local municipal office. Those dates are just the last days that you can register. It you're free now, you can go off and register now.

Bleugh, I have moved as well, going to have to register again, but i'm realllllly short on id-book space. Lets see if they can find a place to stick that sticker.

Thanks for the Freudian reminder.
