I am also having streaming issues tonight. Normal HTTP downloads are looking good, so is P2P. I am on the Fatpipe capped special they were running. Been excellent until now. Hopefully it can get sorted soon. Youtube buffering at 480p on 10mb line.

Port reset tool is just awesome! Haven't tried it yet but does the line have to be managed by VOX in order for it to work?

We asked for resolution by 12pm today; hold thumbs. I'll reply when I hear that it's been fixed or when it will be if not by 12pm today.

While there are tons and tons of posts about this and that, we do listen because while we might be graphing and monitoring everything we can, but you guys are the ones who experience the problems and raise them when you experience something which you don't think is correct.
The fact that you guys raise them to us, is PRICELESS. So from us to you, thank you guys.
We never ignore an issue, we investigate and work on fixing it.
On a side note, DNS admin told me this morning that he's added an additional 2 DNS Cache servers to the mix, using the dynamically assigned DNS settings should work better; if not, let us know.
local game ping are unstable
This is a great thing to raise; but the problem with it is that you didn't provide any information for us to look through.
When reporting an issue, the more detail, the easier it is for us to look through it.
A few things to consider including when sharing a "problem" on the forum or calling service center:
* Whats wrong? (high ping, packet loss, buffering)
* From where to where? (trace route/pingplotter view)
* When did it happen (time frame for us to review graphs, change controls, outtage, that sot of thing)
* What region: JHB, CPT, EL, PE, etc
This kind of information helps us help you quicker![]()
