Vox Telecom Fatpipe

Been thinking of ditching VOX and going the Crystalweb route, but DAMN, their pricing. I will much rather live with the odd hiccup here and there.

Vox has been rock solid for me for months... but this past week it has been flakey and meh.

Last night and today OK again. Hopefully this "odd hiccup here" is over now and we are back to where it was before.

The real irritation with Vox accounts is the complete and total lack of any official status of their network or meaning notifications and feedback.

Just crickets.

Tumbleweeds.

and hiccups!

Well mine seams to have stabilised, it is working fine this afternoon, but it is evening in Cape Town that is the real test.
Lets see if the wife can stream when she gets home from work.

Just testing here, I have cancelled with Vox today, and have 2 accounts with them. I won't be able to use all my rollover data by end of next month. Can I share one of these accounts with anyone for the data to be used? Just not sure of legalities and then risks. Thanks

Haha dude, I will drain that account in a few hours ;D

Have about 400 gigs on the one account and 600 on the other. Rollover of data cause I cant use the data due to connectivity problems.!

Someone with a 100Mbps fibre line will destroy that 400GB in little over 9 hours.

What are the performance on Vox in the Cape at the moment, as i wouldnt mind trying them out as im looking for an additional account that offers roll over. AH im loving and they working well, but need the extra roll over as the missus and son eats into my cap

So if anybody can advise, please let me know.

Any advice on how one gets VOX support to respond to a query?

My card payment failed for some strange reason and my account got suspended as I missed the email notification thinking its a statement.

Paid immediately by EFT and sent a note to VOX support asking to re-enable my account. That was yesterday morning at about 7 and so far all I have received is an automated notification.

Not looking good next to CrystalWeb who both times I mailed answered in under an hour...

My credit card payment also failed today on their portal. I sent an email off to support, but they still havent bothered to reply as well. They seriously need to do something about their customer support, this is disgusting! All I got was the ticket number, no reply.

That is the main reason I switched, the Rollover.
All ISP have issues from time to time so I always have a backup account, but I was sick of throwing away a hundred or so gigs a month whist AH was having issues. Atleast now if I use my backup account my VOX data is not wasted and I can use it when the problems are resolved.

How much did you say you want for this data, as I can't seem to find your asking price in any recent posts.

Hmmmm... mine also failed.

Oh well.

Honestly I'm loving the New AH network, but keen to check out Vox. I know they having issues, but roll over data on your normal cap is quite nice

Rollover is a huge point in favour of Vox. I'd be surprised no other ISP has implemented it yet, but then I remember how much money they must make from unused bandwidth.

I believe the fatpipe is piping it again.

My best SpeedTest to London yet.

Go vox, as others have mentioned, all ISP's have crap no and then. I'm sure the subscribers kept them busy this past few days...

I know I did and got my email response and closed a ticket the same day.

Rollover is the reason I held off buying any other ISP account, I had internet it was just crappy ...

Good Morning Caroper

This is good to hear, we did some testing in Cape Town last night and received great results.

Regards,
Voxy

Last night +- 10PM youtube streaming on 1080 was useless - buffering

Ave 2.5Mbps some peaked up to 5Mbps on my 20Mbps VDSL line

Netflix USA was fine but then again that's only 720p anyways....(Android box)
