Same problem for me in the southern surburbs. Speed test great but all sites don't load fully. On openserve.

These Vox issues remind me of when NopenWeb went down the drain. It feels like someone never acquire enough bandwidth for the month or those Kwese set top boxes with free data are selling like hot cakes.

Same with me.. weird issues though.. vox dashboard sometimes doesnt load, cant access Escape from Tarkov at all, some local websites are suffering as well as international.

southern suburbs

Same issue, Southern Suburbs as well :(

Couldn't get more than 200kbps the whole of yesterday

Tried rebooting the router, which usually works but not yesterday.

Could this be a Telkom ADSL issue?

I doubt it, I was also having issues this week and switched to my Telkom backup account.
I was streaming HD video with no problems last night, with the backup account, whilst others were complaining of VOX issues.

But I see you are in East Rand, most of us are in the Western Cape, so your problem may be unrelated.

Reminds me of their early days when they had capacity issues in Cape Town. All the time. Just here as well.

I'm on Webafrica fibre in Southern Suburbs and experiencing exact same issues - something is up, but not a single ISP are reporting any problems..

Yes. Same here really bad this morning.
Something to do with openserve I guess.

I'm tearing my hair out on this one as well. It's a far more widespread issue than just Vox. Line stats are great, but having the same issues on Vox, Afrihost, Axxess and WA.

Some sites I visit frequently often load exceptionally slowly, don't finish loading, or don't load at all.

Sites like Youtube, MyBroadband, RARU, Loot, Takealot, Sharenet and quite a few others, are giving me constant intermittent loading issues.

I've ruled out my equipment by changing it out completely, tried alternative DNS servers, and even changed from ADSL2 to regular ADSL to see if that would work.

So far the only thing which completely "solves" the problem is using my 3G stick.

Speedtests and Tracerts all look perfect, so no faults to report.

My hands are tied, but it looks like I'm not alone in this. Lots of complaints, but nobody seems to know what's actually wrong.

Isps will be aware of the problem after they have identified and fixed it

Still on my Telkom account and am seeing the occasional DNS type error or Page load issue, but I am streaming without any issues, and that is from international sources, not local mirrors.
Could it be an under sea cable that the others rely on but Telkom doesn't?

It has to be something in the South, we up here have no issues so it can't be a cable as that would affect all of us.

Well, so far I know Western Cape and PE are affected over ADSL problems, so it wouldn't surprise me if Durban is affected as well.

I don't think the issue is ISP or line related, I suspect it's something deeper than that.

Does anybody have a clue wtf is going on with with openserve Cape Town, everyone is complaining, something is borked last week +-
