What would be the total monthly cost for a 300gb adsl connection like this nowadays? There's obviously the R164 data cost, but what other monthly costs (line rental etc) are involved?

Total n00b question, I know. Not having had a landline / dsl account in years I've kind of lost touch.

I'm currently on a R529 uncapped LTE (300GB fup) at the office and R150 for 50GB black Friday special at home. Just curious if it's worth switching back to a fixed line option (don't have fibre in my area).

Telkom voice line R219. Can get away with R200 I think without the addon.

Adsl 4mbps line: R299

300gb Data Vox Promo price R160.
Normal price R259.

Telkom. It was the original Telkom uncapped LTE launch from a couple of years ago.

My telkom voice line is R200.74, plus an additional R503.38 for 20mb ADSL and then add another R165.44 for the vox 400gb promo data

So in total my internet is R869.56 monthly

Yes, sometimes you will see folks saying they want to terminate theirs and if there are any takers who want to use it.

Did VOX just shut down?
I lost all connections and chrome reported no internet access.
Rebooted router with no improvement.
VOX logs in but zero connectivity.
Switched account to Telkom and it is working perfectly.
