Vox Telecom Fatpipe

From what I've seen, agreed. Hope they keep it that way and the little niggles this week are just that. Little.
 
Cape Town is borked currently. 150ms ping to JHB, 1mbps speedtest on a 10mbps line. Very bursty. Google not loading at all.
 
Hey guys its the Cape Town IPC that might be congested or broken. KZN upwards to JHB is fine. We run on the JHB IPC and its fine. Blazing full 10Mbps speeds with low latency :)

If you whois that ip here http://cqcounter.com/whois/ you will see what IP allocation it is JHB or CPT. The ip will differ from person to person though.

Seems like JHB results are better than CT (and for me PE -> CT)

Vox - can you let us know why this would be ?
 
Streaming poor on a 10meg line. Been like this the last fee days. Cape Town area.

What's cooking here. I switched from afrihost due to poor streaming performance. Not even 2 weeks on vox and bam, worse than afrihost. Sigh

What package are you on? If g4g + bolt-on then the rules that apply to g4g apply to bolt-on [from my understanding]. If you have FP premium then that is a different story. Post a tracert here and a speedtest to both local sites if you can please. Hopefully someone [if not me] can help you out.

It's the capped fat pipe.

It seems fine now. Happens sporadic. Will do some tests.

It also feels vox DNS is slow. If I use googles my browsing experience is far better. Anyone else having DNS issues?

The last couple of days i am buffering on my vox fat pipe account. Anyone else? i'm in JHB north.
 
are you guys still having issues on VOX these days? I signed up for a new 50GB FatPipe account on Friday due to all the praises of VOX and considering other options before my account gets activated tomorrow :confused:
 
Just switched over from my openweb account. Video streaming on on 4mb fatpipe in CT is slower than it is with my 2mb uncapped openweb account

JHB is fine so you need not worry I think.
