Vox Telecom Fatpipe

im just going to have a bit of a rant here - since i have had my Vox Fat pipe (about 2 weeks) i have had so many issues with Steam - getting DC'd every 10 minutes and then when i get a decent game my ping randomly spikes to 999? does anyone else have this issue? i honestly was fine when it came to gaming on my Uncapped with Afrihost?
 
Was told by support last week that IPC in Cape Town is running at 80% minimum and the network is taking strain, but some load balancing should be helping to improve things until it is upgraded.

Affects PE and cape in between as well.
 
And netflix is dead again on fatpipe this evening, using AH backup account.

Voxy, please ask Corne to call me - is the IPC over capacity again in CT ?

This is becoming a dealbreaker.

Is VOX throttling torrents? I am getting under 10kb/sec no matter what time. (Capped account)
 
MyBB dead *again* on Vox. Also can't get to wiki.xbmc.org via Vox. The frequency that this happens is becoming concerning. Surely once you have fixed it you leave it alone?
 
Yep. Mybb dead on Vox and other sites. Netflix dead. What's happening here?

Also, 5pm and my latency starts spiking. View image below. Have a closer look at the graph between 7.05 - 7.10pm. Switched to webafrica there and latency all normal.

Same for me. Dead Netflix, NNTP crawling, sites won't resolve incl. mybb.

Was on call with support, they have the same problems using their adsl test line at head office :wtf:

We tried a Tracert to bmw.nyc.com (they chose it) ... Well needless to say this problem is massive. Tech support were equally shocked. From the third hop it became hopeless. Latency was in the stratosphere. Then just timed out. For both of us.

I offered to send a screenshot, support said don't worry we are seeing the same thing.

Come on VOX - let's solve this !

Same for me last night. Very sporadic access to websites, but Netflix was pretty good.

How long does one have to wait for a confirmation from cancellations? Emailed yesterday morning at 8am, and no reply. PM'd Voxy, no reply. And there's no facility in the control panel area to cancel online.

No problems with the account, but FATPIPE is just too expensive.
 
Video streaming is becoming a pain on vox plus bolt on.Hulu buffers even Netflix.Oh an live streams on xbmc

MyBB won't resolve plus many other sites - again - like clockwork in the evening.

Netflix buffering and pretty much useless.

Support have escalated this to the "advanced technical team" let's hope they fix it soon. This is now out of hand for the price paid for the service. Or lack thereof.

Edit to add: Afrihosted capped is working perfectly VOX ... Why is fatpipe still broken?

Unbelievable on some level that no one even tries to explain what's wrong.

I mean really, normal browsing to a local website broken for days now.

Is this the consequence of management taking their eye off the ball because of the buyout talks?

@rpm, might be worth getting one of your reporters to look into it especially since it's mybb that is so specifically affected.

After seeing a tip on here i use a VPN on my phone and tablet to browse mybb now. What a pain in the ass but at least it works.
 
What is going on VOX I just signup today and seeing the performance I'm getting for the money I feel like canceling again...:(
