So VOX is now back to normal. I still think they are one of the TOP ISP`s out there. Their recently network wobble caused some frustrations but over weekend I maxed my 20meg line with everything I DL. Good work.

What's up with the peering? I am in JHB and when I ping JHB server from my VOX account, most pings are > 25ms and the routing is going via Cape Town? Wasn't like this before. I bought this account primarily for low-ping gaming ... :/

I would expect similar pings with the VOX account, if not better (this is a shaped SAIX account). Back to normal? I don't know so much

When joining mates on PSN (Party chat) it becomes impossible to hear them. They can hear me perfectly.

Switch ISP's problem goes away.

And no, its nothing to do with port forwarding.

Its just one problem after another.

I'm on Fatpipe via the Samsung promotion. I have over 960GB data left, yet I get a "capped" message when trying to access any website. I can access the portal, and it does say that I have data left. But also I can see my data usage increasing somehow, gradually, even though I can't access the internet. This started at midnight as we entered the new month. Something fishy is going on here.

This happened to me last night. But everything seems sorted.

Actually, it happens every end of the month I've seen. I keep a spare Afrihost account for these type of outages on Vox.

Don't know if it's a sick April fools joke, but the packet loss to Hetzner has also returned in full force today - Aaaargghhh!

Packet loss gone now after logging another service request this morning - Seems they know how to fix it temporarily. Now let's hope they find a permanent fix.

just spent an hour with tech support....no joy. 6Mb/s to CT on a 40Mb link....I dont think so..Think its time to move.

Just checked the speed on my 40Mb transferring data from Cape Town and I'm getting about 25Mb/s average to PTA through IPSEC VPN.

Funnily enough, I noticed as of this month I'm finally at full speed on my 40meg, previously was limited to 20meg on fatpipe.

Fine here tonight.. Touch wood.

** EDIT .. slow again now ..just after 8pm :(
