Soooooo, back on topic....

If VOX have created a new category IE Fatpipe lite then most likely that will feature on next months specials list....

50gb Fatpipe lite anyone?? Question is will they continue to make bolt-on available?? I would imagine so....

50gb Fatpipe lite @ R178 + bolt-on @ R59 = R237

Pretty sweet deal... Gives the heavy lifters a little more, peak hour wriggle room... Let's see...
 
Just cancelled my Axxess 495 for life 10Mb uncapped account, had it with their shocking service and the quality that has gotten worse over the years. One month left then I move over to VOX.

Signed up with Vox today, took one of the specials.

PROBLEMS DISAPPEARED... So much for Afrihost always telling me its my line, and making me do all those tracerts... WTF for?????????

Can watch Youtube at 720p AT THE SAME TIME WITH TORRENTS RUNNING... This pleases me enormously.
The latencies I have grown accustomed to, are now gone.
 
Performance on the 100GB capped has been great so far. The clientzone is very primitive compared to Afrihost and communication on signup lacking, but at this point I don't care that much when youtube is going at 720 :)

Not going to have enough VOX bandwidth until end of the month. Dreading going back to Afrihost for 3 days :(
 
Starting to see my Afrihost buddies pop up :) I have one toe in the water but before I take the plunge, what is it like for streaming in Cape Town in the evenings?

I have seen reports in this thread that it dies between 8PM and 11PM same as Afrihost, not sure if that was a one off instance though.

I've stream the rugby for my family and it was amazing, and I watch the Smite tournament streaming from 9pm till 5am and no buffering whatsoever. I am from Cape Town, Brackenfell area :P. I came from Afrihost.

Thanks, I just had to login with my backup account to read this as AfriGreen went down right in the middle of me doing invoices on the cloud, final straw, I am switching.....
