Vox Telecom Fatpipe

Their billing system is really screwed up - I've been trying unsuccessfully to pay for my account for the last few days.

No reply from support.

Payment fails when using their online system.

My last attempt says payment failed but money was deducted from my card….

Oh well at least I'm online.. for now :P

mmm, must say the performance degraded a bit, even this early in the morning i am getting lag spikes internationally, wonder if they expected the volumes and had plans to up the capacity.... Would be sad if they over estimated :(

Is there any local news servers we can use while on Vox Capped accounts?

I get that one might be disgruntled due to the issue of not being able to get the 100GB special on the 31st but why wait that late to get it? Why didn't you just get it on the 30th or earlier?

I signed up on the 28th was working great until 3pm yesterday...still down this morning.

Actually don't have to assume anything....

Thats the most common sense I've heard on this topic.

Hahaha, the irony....

Common sense would dictate that given the opportunity to buy top quality data at half price, on an account billed pro-rata and with indefinite roll over, one wouldn't wait till late on the last day of the month long offer, to purchase...

They wanted to take full advantage of the pro rata by waiting until the last day. What I don't understand though is why wait until the last hour? Pro rata doesn't take the sign up time into account.

Oh well, you snooze you lose.

And don't be so disgruntled, Vox is busy planning their next special, just don't get left behind again.

Bought an account yesterday early afternoon. I didn't know the accounts weren't activated immediately so I called support.
First support agent told me he couldn't see the purchase and would need a few minutes to sort everything out and then he would call me back. After waiting for an hour to hear back I called again. This time I spoke to another agent who told me everything was fine and that my account would be active within 24 hours, which doesn't seem to be true as my account is still listed as "prospect".

update : Called again, support agent now says I need to wait another day for it to be activated

You're mistaken. What you mention has nothing to do with common sense. Rather it's simply a reflection of the points that influenced your buying decision. They have no bearing on my buying decision. This is what common sense would dictate - one should apply selection and assessment criteria pertinent to their circumstances and not the circumstances of others. So mirroring your needs onto others isn't sensible.

If you'd like to comment, comment rather on the crux of my post, which was an online only offer ending on the 31st July was pulled early and without warning because they hadn't planned well. If they wanted to prevent over subscription they could have released a defined number of accounts (as OpenWeb does). Rather they chose not to do this, however then reneged on the deal. That is not cool.

Rather piss off one oke than do what AH does and oversubscribe their network.
If they wanted to prevent over subscription, which I'm comfortable with them doing, they should have released a defined number of accounts (as OpenWeb does) rather than making it open ended then reneging on the deal. That is not cool.

... however the particular comment you responded to was more a reflection of the lackadaisical manner in which the after hours call center agents respond. It mirrored a prior post from another member.
The lack of professionalism gave me pause.

If you believe the thing about openweb then my mind is blown.

Just wondering, but could it not also mean that the offer ends at "2015-07-31 00:00:00" ?

I would have thought it meant you can buy it until the end of 31 July.

Assumptions aside, their support has been atrocious over the last two days, they don't seem to care about your problem at all, offering no solutions other than "just wait".

I just want to play the games :(
