Not that anyone would mind, all he's saying is it's unlikely. There have been a couple of well meaning attempts recently, but the usual story is lofty promises, launch, publicity, wave of signups, much praise, huge increase in signups, network deterioration, complaints, shaping and throttling and unhappy people. I'm quite happy with a capped product if the quality is superb, which Vox is.
 
Very Happy so far with my FP 100GB account upgraded it now to the 300GB special for R485..
Have used 40GB so far.
Haven't done any serious downloading etc. besides WIN 10 and normal Browsing, Youtube etc.
 
my only issue with vox is that my downloads is coming down much much too fast.

i have become so accustomed to the throttling, that over the years the 4Mb average in my head has gone down from 1.6GB/hour to 1.4GB/hour and even lower.

much was i surprised when my downloads started hitting 20GB per day while on the vox account :o - and that is in 12 hours only :/

VOX - please give this in uncapped goodness ;) :D

Same experience here... can you imagine what it feels like to me... to be able to use a VPN I created myself... because Lord knows, all the other ISPs think that anything VPN is ohhhhh nooooess he is using VPN to bypass our throttling/shaping...
 
Is there a problem with Vox and the connection to the PlayStation network? I did a network test on my PS4 and download speed was 1.2 Mbps. I've got a 10Mpbs line. A local speed test shows download of 8mbps, which is normal for my line, so my line is fine. My brother who is with another ISP with a 4mbps line gets 3mbps download with his PS4 test.

Edit: Youtube streaming works great. No other issues with connection, only the PS4 connectivity that is terribly slow. Couldn't play BF4 due too lag. Only moved over to Vox a few weeks ago, this wasn't a problem in the beginning.

Streaming hulu fine the whole time then all of a sudden boom, buffering from 8:30pm. been noticing this for a while now. Busy doing trace routes. will be logging a call with VOX.
 
Getting 900kB/s on YouTube 1080p60 but nothing over 60kB/s for any other streaming site like Hulu, AMV, Movreel etc. Used to be so good but now this happens all of a sudden.

Well here is your Movreel problem:

@cvanwie, with regards to my previous post #2576. Does Vox throttle traffic to the Sony Playstation Network?

I did another PS4 network test this morning and I got 4.5 Mpbs download speed, much better than my 1.5 Mpbs speed of last night, but still not optimal for my 10 Mbps line. As I mentioned before all other internet services appears fine and doing a speednet test locally and to an overseas point shows above 8Mpbs download speed.
