So I'm getting less than 6mbps on a 40meg line on speed tests. Maybe moving from Openweb was a bad idea?

Time for some debug, the network was not congested last night. What were you doing when you pulled 6Mbps? Send me your DSL username as well so I can check how your account is configured.

So um ... There's this thing that I just finished implementing ... and um I want to share so badly.

I'm testing it today and once testing is done, the DSL product manager will start the marketing campaign. I'll ask if I can drop some hints here.

I don't know when or if the 100GB will be re-offered, but what I can tell you, is that the next two specials that I know about, are really cool.

HYPE HYPE HYPE HYPE!

Drop it like it's hot! :D

Bud... OpenWeb is stain on the underwear of ISPs. I cant believe any1 would actually use them.

Thanks a lot. I'll send it when I get home.

My OW account performed pretty well actually. Only reason I'm leaving them is because of how cheap Vox's data is.

Guys, are any of you having the issue that I am? This problem comes and goes but my account will refuse to send/receive any data even though it's still connected?

Contradiction or correlation?

Not sure what is going on but in the last 3 days I am getting constant DNS problems .

What DNS servers are you using and what "issues" are you having?

Help me help you ... :)

Thanks
Primary DNS 196.22.218.248
Secondary 209.203.10.208
It is usually coming as error resolving the name .
This is intermittent between 12-18.

Just to add to this, also in the last 3 days or so I've been getting an DNS error on my PS4. Could not connect to online services, but then a few seconds later it works. Similar with BF4 on the PS4, lost connection to EA, then few seconds later it works. Also tried online chat on the PS4 last night, first I got an DNS error, waited a few seconds and then it worked.

My ADSL router is set to get DNS from the ISP.

Not sure if it is related or not. Apart from that, everything else works fine.

Have also randomly had DNS issues in the past. The dynamically assigned Vox DNS servers would just stop responding/resolving addresses at times, and then start working again some time later. Eventually just overrode the settings with Google's servers on the router and haven't had issues since.

Hey Vox

I just want to say thank you for past month of blissful internet. I am on a 4-meg line, and I get to stream youtube at 720p, play games with next to no lag, and I max out my line with downloads no matter what time of day!

I was with Afrihost for so long, I had Stockholm Syndrome. This is what my internet experience should be!

I don't play that often anymore, but this also happened to me one day last week.
