Vox Telecom Fatpipe

I can also vouch for @sybertiger issues. Also in the CT area and pings to CS:Go servers (both CT and JHB hosted) chill at like 70 - 80 and spike to 120. Last night I was streaming ESL on Twitch at Low quality when usually I can stream at source.

Anyway, as highlighted, there are known issues so will sit patiently and wait. Just odd that it fires perfectly during the day, but in the evenings, not:

That's the problem we're working on :)

I tried to connect now to my vox account, and it just sits in an endless loop of nothing :-(

This is a great thing to raise; but the problem with it is that you didn't provide any information for us to look through.

When reporting an issue, the more detail, the easier it is for us to look through it.

A few things to consider including when sharing a "problem" on the forum or calling service center:

* Whats wrong? (high ping, packet loss, buffering)
* From where to where? (trace route/pingplotter view)
* When did it happen (time frame for us to review graphs, change controls, outtage, that sot of thing)
* What region: JHB, CPT, EL, PE, etc

This kind of information helps us help you quicker :)

* Whats wrong?

high ping

* From where to where?
should be around 25

cvanwie: Your posts today is the first actual feedback and ETA that I have received...

I would not blame anyone for being impatient...

Support has not given me anything other than asking for tests repeatedly.

So thank you for the feedback :)

Hi, update on this. Vox support called me (Thank you to them for being so quick), and there is an authentication issue with the samsung 1TB accounts... no ETA, but it was nice to get an update.

Unable to upload YouTube clips on my fatpipe 100GB account (40Mbps line). Now on my FNB free account and it uploading just fine on that.

I'm busy with a group of people working on this issue WRT Samsung accounts ...

Youtube crappy again tonight, was fine the whole day. Auto setting to 480p again.

Call Telkom, have them recreate/reset your port. There's no issues on our side which would cause this for Northwold/JHB.

We've fixed the authentication issue for these accounts; just waiting for the validation to complete in the next 1/2 hour.

and here i thought that the cape town guys is usually the most chilled.

Cape town issues is known about, and they will try their best to fix it.

EG

Cape town area - BAD
Jo'burg - GOOD

Thanks CvanWie for keeping the ball rolling - sorry if the guys is causing you some stress ;)

Pretty much given up on gaming after 19:30 - 20:00. Game takes forever to load and tons of lag. Was no like this a month ago. (Vereeniging Gauteng).

Performance in JHB is eratic.

Major jitter and latency spikes.

Really frustrating

I have only been playing Diablo 3 (from JHB) but mine has been perfect. YouTube was poor last night though but my iOS download went at line speed.

I have done that myself. Line still managed by Africrap. So used the tool. Sure there is nothing wrong it is just me. Thanks for your help
