Vox Telecom Fatpipe

From a network POV -- it's up there with Youtube and Web Surfing, it's in the top 3 for most traffic utilization.

I accidentally left Youtube playing continuously the other night for over 10 hours. I blame the Roku :D

When I switched my TV back on I had some Islamic preacher talking to me, have no idea how it got to that :D

I'm actually at the point now where I can cancel 3 of the 6 x 100gb special accounts bought 3 months ago.

Got more data than I can eat at the mo.
 
The upgrades have been completed in Cape Town.

I just checked our graphs for Cape Town and see that since the 17th of September, we haven't exceeded 95.51% of our capacity which means there has been no congestion on our network.

Anything congested at Telkom and or their infrastructure, or a peering partner is out of our control.

I'm in Cape Town and was in contact with support yesterday about latency problems to Blizzard servers in off-peak times (late afternoon in to early evening, and beyond). An engineer (?) phoned me yesterday evening - was very impressed btw - to get clarification around the specific issues? He intimated there was still a problem here in CT, regarding Blizzard specifically...

Cape Town issues have been resolved as far as I know. I'd like to know what he's talking about. Send me his contact details please.
 
300gb - 400gb fatpipe special / is it 300 or 400gb from 1st oct
so im a bit confused i see my account now shows the description of 400gb but the actual data still shows as 300
am i missing something here, will log a support call to check

I understand your frustration, the slowness is not caused by any network congestion (on our network).

took a gamble adding your address to that email (thanks for taking your time even after hours, its really appreciated), but you can now see where my problem stems from and why other networks give me full speed and low latency

I just spoke with the team who did the upgrade, found a rare use case problem, they are busy with it now.
