Vox Telecom Fatpipe

Hey Showmax users -- are you running normally now on our network, or still having issues?

May I ask why you entrust IS for your business uncapped but have consumer uncapped on another network?

When we decided to pull our accounts away from IS and onto our own network, the consumer side was easy. The business side is much more difficult and couldn't be done in a big bang migration.

The reason is that our customers have systems bound to the IP ranges and each customer is a separate migration. This is an ongoing project, not that we are leaving them there.

I hope that answers your question?

EDIT: for clarity, our uncapped are on our network, not another network.

Has it already been guessed that this uncapped threshold is essentially FPP from 6am - 6pm and after that it works like bolt-on from 6pm - 6am [threshold values only calculated for peak usage].

A guestimate would be for a 10Mbps line around the 450GB mark which just means that you can do more but that applies for usage at the bolt-on time. [also hinted for that graph addition as noted]

/late to the party here, ignore if this was obvious and not happening ;)

Edit: last minute thought, the current iSP trends is to move bulk of heavy data usage [not you streaming guys] to a quieter time for the network so i would see Vox doing this but repackaging it as a method of their own [bolt-on is sweet as fresh milk in this case]. :p

Very interesting ... but not as good as what you will be presented with soon :)

nigga if you present me with christmas in October i will drive to the HQ and bring you a case

Fatpipe + bolton(R99 addon).

Either that or fatpipe will get unlimited data between midnight and 6am for free.

Gees, it's getting exciting!! Although when I look at my fat pipe accounts getting fatter on account of the roll over and extra data being gifted our way, not really sure there's anything I would give them up for.

Edit: they actually already surplus to my needs. Looking at cancelling 1 or 2 or 3...

I tried :).

Am thinking a see-saw model. I don't know why that popped into my head now. :wtf:

Maybe I should drop another hint or two.

Let's see....

I'll come out and say that we are not enabling Bolt on for Fatpipe.

Imagine an account that reminds you of a bolt on account ... If you surfed at night, and you looked at the moon, you wouldn't feel what happened in the morning.

Oh, there's more, but I'm going to wait a little while longer before I explain THAT part.

We can't accept gifts.... but if you happened to drop something in the parking lot, geo cache loc and I happened to find it... I reckon that's fair game!

Just kidding though. I think you'll find the Christmas may just in fact come early this year.

Well I'm no good at riddles but it does sound 12am-6am ish. That's a time slot which doesn't excite me.
