Vox Telecom Fatpipe

I commend Chris for waiting this long before saying something to him. I don't get it, after being shown by everyone that it's not a Vox fault and something at his exchange or Telkom side is screwed he refuses to accept it.

Does he think the world is out to get him, thousands of people can't use DSL because of poor infrastructure, accept it and look into alternatives.
Chris asked for traces from pingplot, he even sent me the link. Then after sitting on them for a week announced that I shouldn't use pingplot and must rather use Windows. I can upload the mail.

He then got very snarky with my Telkom contact when I put them in touch - hoping for a team effort.

Telkom says it's Vox and Vox says it's Telkom so what would you do?

Call Telkom everyday until they move you to another port, if that doesn't fix it, call Telkom twice a day until they move you to another exchange.

Not a problem at all. I don't mind the shared worry. I love the report back as to what the problem was though! Absolutely classic and made my night.

Thanks for the time and effort.

These infernal iPads and these damned kids up passed their bedtime watching IMAX resolution videos of My Little Pet Shop fan creations and endless other crud on 10" screens smuggled into bed.

Enough to make me weep.

I'm on an ISAM and they have tested everything.

I do call. I have around 20 tickets opened and then closed since February.

So this is clearly a Vox issue then yes (according to you) why don't you move to another ISP?

I'm already on two ISP's, as I said, and Vox says they will look into the problem. If I move I lose the special offer too.

Musical ISP gets tiring after a while.

PM me your name. I'll consider it.

BTW this thread is for customers. yeah, those guys who pay for things that work ...SMH

My name?

Yea my current ones do work. I might need to reconsider this, I don't want to buy defective goods bro!

Do you work for Vox?

Apparently he (slvr) hacked into the network - so basically he can create as much backend account's as he likes.

These multiple consecutive posts... Yea soz for it. Couldn't delete other one...

I ask again, please stop misquoting me; I said that pingplotter packet loss reports have been misleading in my experience, and I would not rely on it's information.

The Telkom agent and I have had a number of emails traded between us privately, we get on quite well.
Telkom and Vox also get on quite well; not sure why this is under debate.

How much you want for them?

Do you have an account on any other SA forum like MyGaming or Carbonite? I'd much rather continue this discussion if I knew who I was dealing with (if you're a ghost, then its a different story)
