I miss you, but I think I'm going to unsubscribe from this thread. Too many times in the past, I've allowed myself to be influenced by the MyBB crowd even though I didn't experience the same issues some were complaining about.

As is obvious from this thread the last few days, your departure leaves a huge gap.. Hope Vox takes note how quickly a mob gets formed and riled up when there's no feedback from a rep as to what's potting.

Very erratic for me today as well. Usenet struggling along at between 300KB/s and 700KB/s when it normally chugs along happily at 1MB/s.
 
@Voxy can I use my fatpipe login details at a different venue on holiday? Have about 300gb to use so rather type in my vox login details on holiday router. Or is it limited to my residence line?
 
It's 2 concurrent connections isn't it? And not locked onto any particular number. So you could use it on holiday.

You can turn those annoying ads off. Just google disable utorrent ads, there is a quick guide.

Yes you can. Just remember you can only have two active sessions.
 
Anyone else having ping trouble with their accounts? I used to ping like 10ms to Cape Town servers and 30 to JHB, now its about 60ms to Cape Town...where I live.

I was out of the country for a week so maybe I missed something but as I got back I noticed this. Speeds are still 1MB/s download on torrrents :D

Ah yeah thanks! So going from 10Mb line to 12Mb caused the 40ms jump in latency... I forced my router to sync on ADSL2 (ADSL_G.dmt.bis) and not ADSL2+ and now it is syncing at 11408Mbps but my latency dropped to 20ms to cape town...

Guess I will call them tomorrow to drop it back to 10Mbps. Thanks!

EDIT: I actually thought it was the vox account giving trouble because switching to axxess or afrihost (cant remember) dropped the latency from 60 to 20. I guess it may be a combination of these things.

EDIT2: Lol, back on ADSL2+ latency at 20ms. Never had this fluctuate so much. Had an absolutely solidly flawless experience for the last 3 months on Vox plus 10Mbps, now telkom is giving hassles :D

According to our current records we do not have any general issue in Cape Town at this point in time. We would however like to confirm if you are still experiencing any challenges in order for our support team to advise accordingly.

On the Vox app (IOS) when I log in it says I don' t have any DSL products, even though I have a 300GB fatpipe.

What do?
