Vox Telecom Fatpipe

This is when I miss Chris...:(

Bring Chris back!!!! On a sidenote, was really hoping to ditch DSTV and go the Netflix route. But that's going to become a pain in the nether regions because of the pathetic slow streaming on VOX. Must just add that is only for the last two weeks. They did "something" that f'd Up the streaming.

My fear at the moment as well, ditch dstv , go for netlfix then get buffering, buffering, buffering

I changed over to my WA account from VOX on the weekend due to the issues, has VOX improved today?

Still flaky for me... Teamviewer issues... streaming still iffy... seems to slow right down and then no throughput for a few seconds then resumes again.

Spoke to support... was told there are zero issues on Vox down south here, and it must be my line or equipment.
Could not account for same issues on my other Vox account being used at a different location on different equipment.
They said they will monitor my connection. Will see what the feedback will be...

All these issues are non existent on other accounts.

guys, I suggest you go and open tickets, Chris is no longer here to escalate our complaints to network teams.

While I agree with you on the fact that we should open tickets, we must not stop posting here about the problems we're having. Tickets are "hidden" from the public's view. Discussions on open forums (IMO) puts much stronger pressure on the ISP to fix current issues...compared to giving people the runaround in "private" tickets.

Ek stem.

I've logged a ticket and well the response was,

I have requested an answer from Support, I will inform you what has happened when I receive a response.

This should not be happening on your line and I will find out why this has happened.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

So at least here we can correspond with one another. :)

I just got a phone call from Vox asking me to check if everything is OK currently. Everything seems fine. I asked him to please get a network status page....

Pings and speed still erratic. Mweb to VOX pings over 100 now. I just cannot understand how local pings can be this high....
