Vox Telecom Fatpipe

Using WD TV Live and, yes, using Unotelly. Two weeks ago I still managed 1080P, best I have seen is 720 of late.
Can you maybe use your PC where you have a little more control over it and see if you can get 1080P, using Internet Explorer.

Why? I sued to get 1080P, now not. Oh, and my media player is wired, not WiFi.

If you use Internet Explorer you can force the bitrate at which it streams and change the CDN the data comes from, then you can also check Resource Monitor to see what speed it's going at, it's just a little troubleshooting, I'm trying to help.

After updating my cc details this morning, they processed a weird payment this afternoon for like 2/3rds of the outstanding amount.
Really dont know why they would process that weird amount. It is reflecting on my account so luckily not some kind of fraud.

Nice surprise...

Yeah. Pots filter usually only comes into play when there's an incoming or outgoing call on your landline as its filtering noise between analog and dsl frequencies on your line.

Edit: I would say lightning is the no 1 killer of pots filter. Symptoms of a faulty pots filter. You get an incoming call and your dsl line loses sync or hold sync but then there's a helluva lot of static on your call.

Thanks, sand_man.

Thanks. Can they be damaged, but still work, albeit not at 100% ?
Honestly, from an electrical pov, it's best if you suspect damage from lightning to just replace the filter. A half working POTS filter is just going to cause issues. In fact, it's a good thing to replace your filter every year or 2.

Any form of electrical faults you should attend to it, and not try and use it even if it's working a little bit.

It seems VOX Fatpipe is running at full speed again. What's the chance we ever get an explanation about what happened over Dec/Jan?
