Vox Telecom Fatpipe

Thats why I wonder sometimes about thread. At first sight it seems all doom and gloom. Yet I had no issues except when all ISPs had problems due to the international cable damage.

I have uncapped LTE but gave my vox promo to my cousin as its such a hood deal.

People generally only post in this thread when there are problems (I know that applies to me).

I'm honestly very happy with my Vox account, I got one of the Fatpipe special accounts and I'm still paying next to nothing for it while it gives me almost zero issues. I also have so much rollover that it's essentially an uncapped account and never worry about getting capped.

The only thorn in my side in the past has been their poor support, I just hold thumbs and hope I don't need it now.

I am reluctant to leave as I have so much data rolled over but recently my latency has been terrible. Gaming is just not fun but downloads are perfect. Might give AH another try and see if they have improved.

+1 4 months and counting.. The first real issue arose Thurs evenin, and lack of support and/or notification was my biggest disappointment.

Yup, same for me. Have almost a 1TB of rollover data at the moment, and this is with around 700GB of monthly usage (200GB day and 500GB "free").

For the money I am paying per month I actually feel guilty.

I took 6 of the 100gb @ R164 promos when they launched. Then the cap was increased to 150gb and they added free data after hours. I cancelled 2 due to having surplus data.

Then Telkom mobile came with their uncapped LTE promo @R599 per month, which I acquired.

Have since cancelled 3 more of the fatpipe promos. Breaks my heart but they simply not needed. All accounts still had in excess of 500gb of rolled over data available.

My account was supposed to be cancelled today. Took the account off of the router and contacted support. Hope it was just a glitch on their side, as they confirmed today should have been the last day.

I'm a bit sad to be leaving. Although I had a capped account, because of the roll-over it was basically an uncapped account with very little hiccups. And leaving like 1.7TB of unused data is just...

ag nee jissifisis....what's wrong with vox again tonight. Speedtest shows 38Mb/s, but I can hardly do my arch updates nor docker pulls. Starting to get gatvol for vox....

Geezuz, I'm really getting irritated by these goddamn DNS issues. If this crap isn't sorted before month end, I'm also going to cancel, account rollover or not, I'm sick of this!

international is a broken tonight :(

Flatmate and I played Diablo 3 all night last night while some other things were updating / downloading. Ping to EU hovered around 170-185 - which is good.

I'm in CPT, 8mbps sync speed. Havent had performance issues with Vox in a while.

Anyone having latency issues on WoW? I am getting about 300+ ms on Vox with my 4MB line but I am used to get just over 100ms on Afrihost with my 2MB line a months ago...

And cancelled... Sorry Vox it seems my loyalty lied with Chris and not you guys.

LOL, seems like Vox issues made you double post as well :D

Jokes aside, the constant DNS issues are also driving me up the wall, perhaps I too will cancel my Vox accounts in the future :(

Are you using their DNS or Google DNS? Just curious as I don't seem to have these DNS issues using Google on Vox.

Using theirs I get DNS issues, changed it to other addresses that someone also suggested here in the thread, but still encounter issues. Will try Google's DNS servers once I'm home today and report back :)
