Vox Telecom Fatpipe

Still staying with Vox, but nightime internet on FP is not a great experience anymore (and that's just for normal internet - wife is on pintrest/facebook all the time and complains regularly). Gaming (diablo) doesn't seem to be affected though and I don't stream much, so still the best bang for buck for me.
 
No issues with streaming here... Netflix and youtube running smooth.

Don't know how I am the only experiencing it. Netflix dies after 5 mins for me, and youtube buffers. Not line related, nor router related.

Ive had Netflix die on me once or twice, but in both cases my router lost sync so not quite a ISP problem....
 
I've been with Vox for so many years now that I'm basically Brooks from The Shawshank Redemption, so something major has to happen for me to jump ship, a little outage for around 30 minutes is not going to do it.
 
Over the last year Normal = Intermittent.
Lets see what offers come out based on Telkom's new APC Pricing.
By the end of the month I expect several specials and I hope a few,(VOX) will take the chance to upgrade capacity to the Western Cape rather than get new subscribers.

Yip, this is what I'm having. A full 5 out of 5 stars from me.

The only issue I had was poor latency when I first signed up, but I just waited for it to be sorted (because they were working on it). As soon as it was sorted I ditched my old provider and have never looked back since.

Yep no issues. And great value for money.
 
I have not been able to use ACEStreams for months and that is P2P Based so certainly P2P is struggling in the western cape.

Hopefully the huge reduction in IPC cost will get you guys in the South more capacity soon.
 
Haven't had issues since December. Guess it's my turn to be unlucky tonight.

Syncing @ SNR 6.0 both up (928kbps) and down (7712 kbps) on 10mbps line, so seems this may actually be telkom at fault - can't connect using backup Afrihost account either.
