Vox Telecom Fatpipe

How much was that promo ? I have the 300gb one for R159. I hardly use a third of it a month :p

Sharing is caring! If you want I could download the internet @ 100Mbps for you and post a flash disk to you

Anyone in the South IPC who can comment on international gaming ping and twitch streaming via VOX?

Not happy with my ISP and looking at making a move but want to check with users in my region and see how the service performs.

If you signup with Vox you can cancel within 7 days if you are not happy

I've got issues with twitch streaming during peak hours. Pings/downloads etc are fine though.

I'm convinced that Vox is shaping in peak its almost the norm for me to have loads of buffering when watching IPTV.

Got myself NordVPN and when connected to a few servers the buffering goes down a lot.

Will most likely leave Vox when fibre gets installed here. Have two promo accounts with loads of data, but vox isnt playing nice.

Doubt it, are you sure it's not your line?

Try opening a Speedtest.net and running that every minute while you have issues. On my Vox account I found doing that immediately gets my full 100MB line speed during the day/evening, otherwise they shape it to 10MB.

An HTTP download from a source with the word speedtest on it also works :--)

Are you using a fibre or ADSL account on your fibre?

Did Seacom see it's arse again?

Got disconnected from my UK VPS and battling to access international sites like Twitter and can't even do a Speedtest. >_<

Dont really understand how you can say its my line. Again tonight my iptv service starts to lag / buffering. Fired up a VPN and it dissappears . A line issue would affect whatever I do.

Super slow download from a site hosted on nationalnet.com in the UK. Normally I can get 3.5 MB/s on my 40mbps line now it is only 20KB/s but the ping to the server is less than 300ms. Makes no sense.

URL to test here?

Regarding Vox telecoms 1Mbps uncapped at R99pm. My aunt just got it but her speed is so bad that that she cant even stream radio. Ive asked others who have the same thing and they say it should be fast enough to stream Youtube videos.
Is this true?
