Vox Telecom Fatpipe

I couldn't get any streaming sites/servers to even start the stream and was getting 500 and 404 errors frequently.
Switched to Telkom Internet and first stream I tried stated and ran at a steady 600Kb/s.
This is definitely a VOX issue, and is only effecting streaming.
It looks like shaping at domain name level to me.

MTR shows crazy packet loss on the ldn-b3 and ldn-bb3 hops for me. Zero loss on the others you've highlighted though, oddly. Perhaps they're resolving the issue. Either way, that seems to already be off the VOX network.

Hehe so what you okes playing these days? Last time I was at a LAN with you guys was the "huge" pine lodge LAN and you guys still played pro Counter Strike...

Damn... that was a long time ago.
Pubg's the flavour of the last couple of months with our usual crew :)
You guys?

Hi guys I know i have said that I will never leave Vox but we need for one of our accounts to be uncapped again and Telkom definitely through a spanner in the works. I was on the phone with Vox this morning checking if the can match Telkoms deal but its obvious how that went.

Question how long does Vox take to release the line into the holding pool as they currently manage it? I will in all likelihood cancel my capped account and mobile data with afrihost and take it with Vox.

Garbage speeds in Pinelands, Cape Town. It feels like throttling, every time my speed hits something decent it gets knocked back down.

Vox, Afrihost and WebAfrica are very quiet on upcoming packages and deals. Telkom hit a home-run with their Unlimited packages.
