Vox has been great with their regular updates via email on the network status and it having a possible influence on the speed for their users. Thank you, Vox! Keep up the good work because we do appreciate the hard work.
How do I get these updates via email?

My Vox was flying last night, from 22:00 to 23:00 I had three 720P60 streams running at the same time and non of them buffered once.

The clock strikes midnight and all of a sudden i'm struggling to stream on twitch.. buffering, 144p on a 20Mbps VDSL.
I mean, seriously.

I see Vox dropped prices on Fatpipe 100GB from R99 to R79 - but getting charged R99 as an older customer?

Any one know how to get the R79 fee?

Usually they increase the data cap for existing clients. Just check if yours has been increased before “downgrading”.

Quick question - I managed to get my line onto fast path. I now get 8.5 mbps on speedtes on a 10 mbps line. Is that about right?

Vox in Durbs just pegged. It's dead. Nadda. Finished. Something happened? Had to change to backup ISP to post and check here.

Yeah, lost connection for a couple of seconds in-game 10 minutes ago, speedtest just now was 65/15Mbps. Latency is fine though and at least I still have a connection.

Well after 2 days of infernal noise a Technician knocked on my door yesterday and asked where I would like my Fiber connection to terminate. Apparently this building is considered a digital village ( note to self: read body corporate notices ) so I now need to see if VOX will work on the new fiber or if I need to or want to find a new ISP.
If the fiber is still reliant an the local Exchange I will pass and stick with ADSL and Telkom/VOX as the exchange is the bottleneck, if the Fiber bypassess the exchange, which as it is not openserve I hope it will, I am open to offers for an unshaped fiber connection.

Is it OpenServe? Works fine, just dial a PPPoE connection as normal, router just needs WAN. I am currently using a Fat Pipe account on OpenServe fiber at 100Mbps.

Your exchange should not be congested if swapping to fiber, they usually renew/upgrade the entire backhaul.

It's not Openserve, it is some company called SA DIGITAL VILLAGES.
Their web site is very thin on detail and big on marketing so I suspect it is a new company.
they make the statement:
SA Digital Villages is a full Telecommunications Operator as well as an Internet Service Provider .

So I don't know if it will work with VOX.

I am a bit annoyed that they even installed it without asking if i want it.
I assumed they were Telkom till they started drilling through walls rather than using the Telkom Trunking.
I will need to ask the bodycorperate what is happening and why.

SADV is good

They do alot of the business estates and residential estates here in Joburg.

Still on my back up here, will give it a test again tonight, guess it was temporary then, here I gave it nearly 20-30mins and was no internet at all so switched across. Thanks Johnatan56.
