Vumatel outage ?

You must really be desperate as my experience with WISP's has been slower than a USR Robotics Sportster 2400 baud modem.

Why don't you use cellular in the mean time ???.

We are 4 heavy users in the house. And I am in a deadspot when it comes to LTE coverage.

There are good WISP's in this area. I have two clients running companies off of a WISP, but these are in an area approx. 10km's from me.

Just give us (with static IPs atleast) the damn config so we can manually set it.

You don't have to buy it lol, doesn't mean it's not true, have a look at you router's logs, 1billion DHCP requests to finally log "no offer, DHCP service unavailable"... Looks like DoS (self inflicted) vibes to me :( farking irritating at the very least, I have an office at my home, so far I've lost almost 6 hours of work time, looks like it will be 8 hours at least after this drama. Who is going to pay for an entire day of lost revenue??

Nope, only a few DHCP entries in the logs, no millions as you claim

Vumatel said max 2 hours. How the fark can it take 6+ hours.

I can promise you that is not a DHCP storm causing it

Power came up at 16:20, internet came up for a brief moment at 2am.... and only started working 100% at 6:19am this morning

Update from my side: Fibre is back online, don't know when it came back as I just checked (6:55am). Stellenberg Area, Northern Suburbs

Durbanville area was worse than on Monday.
Power came back at 16:30 and no internet until we went to bed. Not sure when it started working.

Problem is that we have first blackout at 12:00-14:30 and second one at 20:00-22:30.
Basically no internet today. Luckily some coding and testing can be done without it.

I wonder if it would have been as bad if we were on OpenServe's fiber. Might be Telkom, but at least they understand the demand.

Our internet came back on about 4 minutes after the power did last night.

Sent message to our NW group to find out if anybody is using open serve and what is experience.
Vumatel put lines first so I'm not sure if anybody is using open server.

Power is back on in Durbanville. Lets see how long it takes connect to the internet today.

Our internet was on about 15mins after the power came on (Goedemoed, Durbanville).
A couple of my neighbours confirmed that their are also on. So far it seems that changes/upgrades they made last night/this morning worked. I hope your areas are also better.
