I know the promo is only effective from today, and it may still take time for the temp upgrade to get initialised with whoever's ISP is on board with this promo, but is there anyone who was directly told by their ISP (apart from Cool Ideas and Afrihost) regarding this temp upgrade, or is there anyone here who is already noticing that this speed upgrade is in effect?

Not yet upgraded. On Cool Ideas.

I was upgraded last night but then my line randomly went back to it's normal speed (100/100).

I'm in Roodepoort area on Vuma with Cool ideas. In the evenings you can't stream anything from our Fibre.

I Hotspot my phone so that the other people in the house can have internet.

So clearly the system can't cope with the current situation and now they want to upgrade everyone to even higher speeds.
Odd. No issues whatsoever in wilgeheuwel on vuma coolideas

Seems to be live for me (Coolideas/Vuma 100/100)

You think the upgrade will happen normally or should we reboot the ONT for a new IP?

How do they do it in the background?

is it software controlled?
