...said the same thing long time ago.Predictable looks, but there are some very clear details present which is already seen in the current range of Polo/Jetta/Passat models. If I am completely unbiased I'd have to say they did a good job here, the car styling has all their new VW styling elements present without going too far and being too bold. In other words it is typical VW modus operandi. However my guess is that under the metal skin is where the most changes will take place, and they will yet again set the benchmark for this segment.

Yes, it is, and I am quite happy about it. If you look at how good the new Astra is (even Clarkson likes it) then it would be foolish to think it came out that good just because some GM engineers were bored. Its about competition.it is good to see that you recognise the Golf as "the benchmark for this segment".
