WAR - Which servers?

Just a question here for any other people that created their account on war-europe.com. After you entered the key successfully, and got the confirmation email, could you (in the "my account" page on the website) edit your subscription, licenses, etc details? For me it was still grayed out, even after adding my key and getting confirmation. So I can't actually specify my credit card details for the subscription now. I am wondering if it only becomes active after the 30 days free period or what?

Well from looking at the cinematics and how the classes look like i can see that Order will be like allaince on wow over populated and alot of kidies.
Gone be even orse than wow cause in Warhammer they make it clear destruction is the bad guys .

Actually it's the opposite ;). Order is under-populated, while everyone and their granny is playing Destro. So Order might eventually turn out what Horde was in the early days , i.e. the better organized group who are better geared on average because they could play scenarios/RvR more often.

Just btw, you get INSANE xp in scenarios, it's worth it to queue up all the time. I gained a level -just- by standing around in town messing around in RvR and doing scenarios. Only catch is, on Destro side the queues are pretty long to get into scenarios..

Are you for real dude ?
I really cant believe it.
Anyways what server and side are you on?

Which is exactly why the "kiddies" are playing destruction. They all want to rebel against authority, be the bad evil person to get back at the bully who beat him up at school.

Seriously, which "kiddie" wants to be the good guy?

Yeah could be but on wow it was diffrent story not lately i noticed horde pop overtaking allaince.

But what is the most of you guys gone play? And what server?

He aint kidding at all. I seriously think WoW depended on which server you were playing. On my Server playing Horde was like pulling your own teeth with a pair of tweezers. I nearly killed myself listening to the chat in badlands. You can generally tell were all the kids are by the langauge they use. Most of the kids are the ones swearing and pretending to be adults thinking it makes them "cool"

I'm playing Order on Karak-Azgal. There are few other guys there as well. The SA destruction guys can be found on the same server (for now.. they might leave because of the loading times due to over population) You can get hold of them at www.warhammer.co.za
Whats this server statis with population?

Currently it is full (worse on destruction side). But they are doing a server clone so many might be leaving.. then again, they could be waiting for everyone else to leave

After yesterdays clone the load times has almost been cut in half. But think we will see another cloning soon.

As long as server pop only afects load times ill be happy cause i run on monster system but if it increases lag i am gone cry cause i use 3g/hsdpa to play live next to a mtn tower.

Well i am on Karak-Vlag, Destro . We initially rolled on Karak-Azgal , but there's no way in hell i'm gonna sit in a queue to play this early in the game's life. So we re-rolled on a medium pop server.

You can see the server pops per faction AND their queue sizes when you login. It's quite easy to determine which servers is going to be problematic. The queues are faction based [i.e. on one server the Destro guys might be on queue, but the Order guys not etc] .

Oh and not sure which cinematic you watched, but the one i saw it was quite clear which side is cooler...and it was not Order. The cinematic i saw had:
a] Goblin Squig Herder [the bouncing ball thingy.....basically some type of hunter class]
b] Marauder [the guy with the mutating arm]
c] Sorceress [the dark elf chick looking pretty hot]

on the Order side you had the cookie cutter guys, i vaguely remember a Dwarf-engineer, An Elf-ranger and a Human-Mage ...there's nothing interesting about them in the movie [as opposed to the Destro guys] , and it seems alot of people feels the same ;).

So i wouldn't say it's about people wanting to rebel or "being bad", it's plain and simple : Destruction's classes are slick and looks awesome. The Chaos Chosen [the tank class] looks awesome in full armor [Death Knight look] and i don't see any "Style" on the Order Side coming close.

I am considering a low pop server but dont know of any SA people on will go Order if they are less like you said.

Just looking for a class thats swings a BIG weapons.
And i dont want a warior/priest.

Only catch is, Warhammer relies -heavily- on actually having a healthy population. So don't pick a dead server.

Basically imagine WoW, imagine you CAN actually "capture" Stormwind or Ogrimmar [as in taking it over] . This you can do in Warhammer, provided you have enough players. So if you're severely outnumbered, you might find yourself in alot of pain as the opposing faction controls your capital city. If the server population is too low on both sides, you'll also probably have a hard time getting a large enough group together for a siege of that size to begin with.

http://warhammeronline.wikia.com/wiki/Capital_city
Capital cities will contain a fortified area which will remain safe for home players throughout the duration of a siege. This area will include vital locations such as the bank and auction house, and some of the more important NPC merchants who operate out of the city. However, once a capital city is captured, players must rely on a "black market" for goods and services, meaning that everything costs more.

That sounds really cool wow should have had that taking over city :)
I am more of a pvper so i think my wow acounts gone get canceled for a bit.Dont have time to play War team Fortress and WOW,so WOW gone have to take the back seat.

Oh and some more important reading, this is what the entire game is about:

http://warhammeronline.wikia.com/wiki/Campaign
The objective of a Campaign is to take over the zones and capital city of the opposite realm.

Between the opposing zones in each tier, there is a unique battlefront. Initially, the battlefront divides the tier evenly between the two realms, but as victory points are gained by each side through RvR gameplay, the battlefront shifts depending on who is winning the most victory points. Earn enough victory points, and your realm will gain control of that battlefront. A percentage of victory points from tier 1 spill over into tier 2. Likewise, a percentage of victory points from tier 2 spill over into tier 3, and from tier 3 into tier 4, so your victory points gained in lower tiers increase your points in upper tiers. Even low level players in tier 1 will ultimately be contributing to the overall war
effort.

If you gain enough victory points to control the enemy’s tier 4 zone, the enemy capital city itself will become open to attack, opening up a new range of scenarios inside that city's zone, detailing the attacks on the stronghold. If that attack is successful then the controlling realm will be able to (temporarily) conquer and ransack most of the enemy capital. Burning, looting and special NPC encounters are sure to follow. You will not be able to hold onto your enemy city indefinitely. Systems will be in place that will eventually wrest control of the city back to the rightful owners. When this happens, the campaign will begin again.

It's hard to tell how it will all pan out, most of the players are all still ploetering around in Tier 1 and Tier 2, so i doubt there's too much happening up at Tier 4 yet. Also considering that Tier 1 is basically -restricted- to lvl 1 - 11 [you become a little chicken if you're entering the RvR zones that is too low for you = no ganking lowbies!!] , i have no idea how it will work when everyone is high level and there's no one low enough to cap the Tier 1/2 areas. I know the scenarios "upscale" your level if you're too low...so maybe something similar will become available when it becomes an issue.
