i set me galaxy s2's unlock procedure to "swipe". i reckon everyone who picks up a phone is expecting a code entry or some fancy unlock procedure.

The S3 is also safe if you don't run a Sammy rom. Apparently the Note 2 has a similar issue.

Doesn't bother me much since I don't leave my phone laying around everywhere and I don't run Sammy Roms on my devices.
