Was there ADSL line upgrade

Hello All

I notice a faster speed on my ADSL line today, I have a 4mb line from Telkom and when I looked at the router stats my speed is:

Downstream Line Rate (Kbps): 5115
Upstream Line Rate (Kbps): 508


Downstream Upstream
Line Coding(Trellis): On On
SNR Margin (dB): 243 266
Attenuation (dB): 235 134
Output Power (dBm): 190 121
Attainable Rate (Kbps): 24088 1175
Rate (Kbps): 5115 508
D (interleaver depth): 448 16
Delay (msec): 7.62 7.67

Was there an upgrade from 4 mb to 6mb at Telkom?

Telkom tweeking lines from what I hear... mine is to **** though dropping all the time and mostly below half rates atm

Only for those connected to MSAN or ISAM units.

Those of us on DSLAMs or IMAXs will see no change. Yet.

mine droped with 1mb,and not a 1mb gain
