what a joke.

I queued at Cape Town ticket centre at the Spearhead building since 6 this morning, only to give up at 3:30pm as it was going nowhere. The whole experience was just a plain nightmare.

I started queueing as an elderly man was having a heart attack. Help came hours later after his body was covered up and taken away. I had a number (450) written on my hand by a CCID city security guard with a Black Yoken pen. Apparently that was my passport to enter the ticketing office. Half the people there were writing numbers on their hand with their own marker-pens. After hours of waiting they eventually let people in but the whole thing crashed. We continued to wait.

By 11:30 some people started walking out with tickets.... by 3:30 when I left, people were still inside with 'ticket' number 120 not even out yet. Many people had left because of the absolute mess up.

There communication with the people outside was pathetic as well. We never knew what games were available at any stage until 3:30 pm they told us only category 1 tickets were available.

i am now trying to buy tickets online and it is not working. This is the reason why tickets were sold in applications previously. because they knew they could never run a massive over the counter system. PATHETIC!!!! 8hrs of waiting for nothing :mad::mad:

Same here, I waited at FNB for nothing. I've been through all the sales phases and not got any tickets. They should not have allowed people with tickets to buy more tickets, give everyone a chance

LOL!!!

I plan to goto a pub or friends house and watch these games, you guys can enjoy the traffic and the rest of the disasters ;)

Online is just FAIL too. Their system is offline now and the page for buying tickets is unavailable. The online ticket sales phase should have started 6pm.

:D !!I DEMAND MY TICKETS!! :D

Ya, that is not a bad plan.

Would still like to get to see one game just so I can say " I was there' etc.

Tried at 6pm myself - had the whole BUY TICKETS button and then it just gave an IIS error saying page not found - now it seems that the page where u click through to doesnt have a button anymore - only a link to Data Security - massive issues it seems ...

I too went to Eastgate early morning (the Checkers Hyper had a note saying they're not selling until the 19th) and thus the only place there was FNB - Massive queue - ran out of numbers for people etc - Waited 2 hrs but nothing moved or happened - had to go to a meeting - returned at 12 - waited 3 hrs in queue and still moved about 2m in that whole time (They also ran out of application forms) - Massive disaster in my opinion!
