Web Africa ADSL general feedback

For me, the business capped is worth the cost even though I don't bother with the night time data. I use it a lot during business hours for music streaming, the odd youtube video, lots of ssh and VPN and it almost always gives me line speed on all services. There was a time where I had some bad skype and gotomeeting calls, so I tried some other ISPs, but it was worse, so I'm sticking around here for a while.

Thanks for the input, I stream a lot of twitch and youtube, so the uncapped business might be the better option for me....

at i am at 2stars ,used 150gb so far on my 10mb home and only about 50gb was in the day time
will test how streaming is on 2stars

The home uncapped isn't bad with streaming at all, unless you stream those stuff during the day.

It turns out the problem I experienced with slow speeds was PEBKAC :o

Tested the same, you'll find that streaming is still perfect. I'm switching to the 180gb home capped account. Then I can use 4mbps instead of 2mpbs. Don't need to download during the day anyway

PEBKAC, hahaha, reminds of a joke at work....good times...will seriously look at the webafrica business accounts, I'm just not pleased with the calendar months notice....

It works on 10 day rolling window. So really depends on what you downloaded during the day 10 days ago.

just moved back to business its just way better :)

and can use more data, faster overall

edit, youtube works slower now on business in green than home on 2 stars..??

Business flies after hours flies for me. Probably just the account upgrade going a bit wonky. Reboot your router so that it reconnects.

Just glad to hear you got it sorted ;)

The star rating system uses a 10 rolling day window so if you drop down your usage over the next couple of days it should start dropping. I cannot provide you with an exact number of days unfortunately.

Very strange as a Business accounts have a higher priority all hours. Could you provide a speedtest and trace route results and I will ask our team to assist.
