Web Africa ADSL general feedback

I take it that you have submitted support tickets?

See.....I am very reluctant to terminate my account with Web Africa, as I do enjoy having a 4mbps connection.
Without this special deal,and if I switched to another I would have to get a 384k line.....and wouldn't be getting a whole lot for my R299, I don't think. If Web Africa's network IS experiencing problems, I am confident that these problems will be resolved. As a business, WA relies on satisfied customers for revenue and cannot afford not to.
 
The DNS server is not responding properly.

Had to change it to Google's DNS and now it is working just fine.

Lol!!
Killed my Mweb connection and everything died.
Can connect to the WA website via Mweb but with my WA connection nothing works. Had to reconnect to type this.

I have patience but its running thin. im almost at that point where I dont enjoy this service anymore. IM actually glad that I did not cancel my PCflive service. Ironic its running on the Cybersmart backbone which is outperforming this expensive offering.
 
At least there are other isps, I can easily suggest

Openweb,
Mweb,
Afrihost (capped).

Seems that even CyberSmart is better choice now, lets even wager that sentech was better. I wonder where this grade A network is, seems it's gone MIA with honesty.
 
Be careful Prophet, before you know it WA pulls an @lantic on you and you get sued for aiding them in driving their customers away. :p
 
There Website is down too, I wonder if someone isint busy spamming them to hell at the moment. :/
 
Down here as well had to use my Afrihost account. To think i have just signed on with wa's 50 gig account. This SUCKS !!!!!!! So much for paying for quality

I think they've got an unlucky rabbit's foot and need to figure out WTF is wrong there and sort it ASAP. WA was a brilliant company the last time I was a customer (2009).

They don't need people to aid in driving customers away, they do a brilliant job of it on their own
 
At this stage I'm hanging on to my RedAfrica v1 account for R199. I doubt they make money from it. I am definitely not recommending them to anyone, in fact I tell people to stay the hell away from these jokers.

Cheap and nasty as they say.
