Web sQuad ISP - Feedback Thread #2

Not sure but was also getting kicked out from Tarkov for exceeding the 220ms ping limit in matches from European servers all evening (which wasn't happening before), that made me run Speedtest and the ping was horrible to multiple servers in London and Paris, so all of Western Europe was seeing an additional 20 - 40ms latency. Late in the evening I ran one more ping test and the latency was back down to 160ms so something resolved itself.
Will monitor here this evening as well to see if we pick up anything. I’ve noticed that particular server is quite slow, compared to others out of the UK- we’re testing to see if this something server related or rather a routing change we can influence.

What must I do from my side. On month notice?
A month’s notice is all we need (based on FNO). Just pop our team a mail. Sorry to hear you want to leave- pm me your details and will see if there’s anything we can assist with to change your mind.
 
Fibre down in kempton park, anyone else?

Not seeing anyone else complain....just had to be on eve of "specials" for me.

On the 13th of October, I placed an order for an Openserve fibre connection together with a 500/250 WebSquad fibre subscription for my new house in Hartenbos, which I moved into yesterday.

Ticket: 843729

Someone from Openserve showed up at my new house today and told me he couldn’t get in touch with me because he didn’t have my cellphone number. Because of this, a new appointment needs to be scheduled for the fibre installation. The installation was supposed to happen today.

Could you please update me on when the new appointment will be? I work remotely full-time and need a stable fibre connection as soon as possible.

JHB - We are seeing an issue and we are aware. Team is investigating.

I was busy fiddling with Fail2ban on my local Linux box at home from my office, and thought I had just completely locked myself out

But I can’t access anything at home, not even cameras via hikvision , so springs is down as well then

JHB Update. Teams en route to teraco, suspected power issue as we are seeing multiple switches offline

I know they have generators, etc, but seems Kempton is a mess with regards to power at the moment, maybe something said “nope” and went on leave for December
