Web sQuad ISP - Feedback Thread #2

So apparently the Vuma Black Friday deals are not applicable to existing customers?

Wanted to upgrade from 500/200 (R1199pm) to 1000/250 (R1199pm) but just received a call from WebSquad saying it cannot be done because it's the same price????. Bit confused then, what's the point of these BF deals.

*** EDIT: I see the e-mail comms now stating the same. Basically, you only qualify for BF deals if you spend more and does not upply to the actual line upgrade.

Aah, and here I want to move to the 1000/500 Mbps package as well

I can go no higher, @websquadza can you comment here?

This Black Friday deal works in conjunction with Vuma's promo. They've offered some great pricing on services, but for existing clients, the monthly speed needs to be greater than the current amount. Their system won't let us select Black Friday packages if the package isn't more (in terms of cost) than the current package. It's great value for clients on lower end packages, however the higher end packages are a little less attractive unless you were looking at upgrading from, for example, a 200 Mbps to 1G

It seems that's the case as the 500/200 and 1000/250 is the same price so I cannot upgrade. A bit of a stupid scenario from their end.
