Web Squad ISP

London and Amsterdam are hosted separately then Frankfurt is AWS and Belgium is Google. The above MTR I believe is not to a server it's one of the few IPs that pop up.

Was using resource monitor on the Apex executable, that was the IP with the most traffic to it while in-game. Regardless, seems to have cleared up @websquadza so not an issue.

@websquadza I am also seeing issues with international, reverse trace show heavy packet loss from 53-71-148-197.as37497.za.net carrying through to core.as-xe-02.jb1.za.ws.net.za

I've got the correct IPs for the servers and it's not one of those I also went through a stage of trying to improve the routing to it on Cool Ideas and I also got that same host from resource monitor but another user gave me the correct IPs. I am not sure how it responds to IPs like the ones I have never show up in resource monitor and I had them make changes to the routes for the IPs I had and it changed my ping when they made changes to the above IP and it did nothing.

I've also got that list of IPs. Problem is, I think those are just login / authentication servers / general reporting servers. They're also the ones the main server list pings for latency. But the actual game servers seem to be randomly spun up on the fly, on entirely different machines and IPs - so tracing anything is a major PITA.

Yeah, I think a few gaming companies have started using these cloud "aggregators" - multicloud platforms that "optimise" cloud presence over multiple cloud platforms. Great for cost savings and server spread - not great in that some clouds don't really have cloud capable networks. Also makes pinpointing issues a bit of a pain.

WebSquad provided a free to use router to me, the Tenda AC8. Used it for a few hours and put it back in the box. A True POS. While wired in it caused random packet drops and disconnects plus it has terrible wifi range even when tweaked optimally.

I'm using my LTE router in WAN ethernet mode for now.

Hopefully they can provide a different router to use.

Sounds more like a dud unit. Only issue we've identified with this unit is the auto channel width selection can be a bit off, and seems to choose dual channel widths in congested environments. Easy fix on the AC8 is to force 20 Mhz on 2.4 Ghz and 40 Mhz on 5 Ghz. But the built in native and working IPv6 support and Gigabit capable routing make it a pretty solid unit.

I've escalated your enquiry internally and will revert back to get that faulty unit back from you and arrange something new. Our team will be in touch tomorrow.

International has just tanked

I can't even get the speed test page to run that I use, so have done a trace route instead

Constant disconnects dropping offline in Durban. 1gbps vumatel trenched

International Update: We're bringing on some new capacity and providers and an upstream filter has gone awry. We are rolling back.

International Update: JHB - We're in the process of bringing up new routes and capacity. Upstream overlaps and filters caused a bit of a route leak which created issues on certain prefixes (sets of IPs) in JHB. We're working through all the potential leaks, peers and filters to remedy at the moment. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Hi guys, is this still an issue? I keep getting disconnected from Blizzard servers mid match and then battle.net client keeps saying connecting, on and off

Yes, we tried to bring the new sessions up again and once again found another leak. Apologies, rolling back and re-converging now.

What platform you on? On PC have you deleted the CONFIG files?

That also caused issues and was fixed after that also change to region between America and EU
