What speed do you get off of this? This is Apple IPSW locally cached. This should indicate your max attainable line speed on local.

I'll give it a month, then downgrade to 50mb/s, seeing that is the speed I kinda get.

This package has hit the sweet spot for me in terms of price vs performance.

So i think i figured it out.
I tried to create the connection from my PC directly onto the ont.
The link on GE1 on the Zohne device to my pc is only 100Mbps, when i switch to GE2 the line-speed increases to 1Gbps.
The Pppoe connection wont work through GE2 though.
@websquadza any ideas?

Sounds like it's not automatically negotiating 1 Gbps. Any way you can force 1 Gbps within the Ethernet settings on the Huawei?

I've checked from our end, we can't provision the other ports. Can you send a ticket to support so we can track this?

Will have an iperf server up and running for you this week to see where losses are occurring. You're testing to a server hosted 3/4 hops away in the UK.

Irrespective. We isolated 1 issue to your router. Next is to find out if an issue exists elsewhere, where it is, then solve it.

Nope you should be able to hit up to 76MBps easily beyond that it can depend.
My tests on the 1Gbps line gave me around 80MBps max on a torrent and a google drive download.

Sorry I haven’t been keeping track, are you not happy with your 1gbps package? I’m considering moving from CISP to websquad 1gbps but now not so sure.

The Huawei is pretty basic.
Dont see an option.
Will log a ticket.
What should i do then?
Get a new router?
