Hey @websquadza, do you think it is possible to setup a mirror for a few linux distros; like Ubuntu, Debian, Kali, ParrotOS? (The last two desperately need a ZA mirror lol)

Does it have to be connected direct to CPE for Vuma to monitor?
This is from my router:

Would you mind running a few tests for us? Starting with this one? How many connections have you set IDM to use? Default I think is set to 16... downloads>options>connection... if you not familiar...

Umm, You mind if i steal this? Want to use it as my wallpaper

Yeah, I'm most intrigued by the 200Mbps rate limit cause all indications are that it isn't. I would expect that download to plateau at 30MB/s. On my gigabit account, that isn't rate limited, I don't get much more than 45MB/s, average is probably around 25MB/s.View attachment 640554

hetzner.de isn't a local site, so would only get 200Mbit on it (though the download does fluctuate between 20 and 40). IDM Defaults to 8, and I've found increasing that causes more issues than downloading faster.
@websquadza could be interesting to look at setting up a game cache server for platforms like origin and uplay, where the platforms don't have a presence in South Africa

Steam is fine for most things, averaging 50MB/s.Quite surprised that this isn’t served up by their local cache. We’re peered with Valve locally. Will look into caching this as well.
Xs? Router? That's the best I've seen over wifi on a mobile device.
