Trying to get IS to do anything during the week is a mess, never mind a Sunday at 8pm.

Thanks for the update!

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Much appreciated. We've managed to dampen the IS advertisements and the rest of the world can reach us. We're going to monitor this closely and will try dismantling the workaround in the early AM to ensure minimal disruption. Thanks for your patience tonight

OK, after a full day of testing, implementing minor fixes and preventative measures here and there and working with Vendors to ensure we don't experience an issue like yesterday again, it looks like all the Ts have been crossed and Is dotted and everything is back up to where it should be, and improved. JHB will be the first to benefit from much improved ASIA routes (We've brought up China Telecoms transit which includes super short routes to Asia via SAFE) and dramatically reduced latency there, bringing that up for CT and DBN soon. Please let me know if you don't see these improvements so we can tweak our routing tables accordingly.

Will do some testing and let you know!

Cloudflare ZA is down rerouted to EU. DNS and websites loading from EU CDNs.

Yup, looks like it. No notices from them either. Seeing all 3 regions 1.1.1.1 resolving to EU. Peering is up in all regions, but very few prefixes being advertised. Hopefully it's a short outage.
